Job Title Production (COLD ROOM) Job Location McCook, IL Job Shift Monday thru Friday 3:00pm 11:00pm
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate food production equipment and machinery in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Prepare, process, package, and label food products according to company specifications and guidelines.
- Monitor production lines for efficiency, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to established recipes or formulations.
- Perform regular checks of ingredients and materials, ensuring accurate measurements and proper storage conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including equipment and work surfaces.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking usage of raw materials and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of allergens and hazardous materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Familiarity with food production processes, tools, and machinery.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required by production schedules.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed (weight capacity may vary depending on facility requirements).
