Network Engineer

Must have:

• Proven background in computer networking, with solid knowledge of core protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and file transfer standards including SFTP, FTP, and SCP.
• Practical experience with Cisco networking platforms, including routers, switches, and ASA firewalls; familiarity with Meraki solutions is an advantage.
• Strong capability in configuring VPNs, especially IPsec, and implementing security controls such as SSO, LDAP integration, and SSL/TLS encryption.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting expertise with Cisco ISE, IDS/IPS technologies, load balancers, and network hardware faults.
• Familiarity with automation scripting in Python or Bash; experience with Ansible or PowerShell is a plus.
• Ability to architect scalable, high‑availability network solutions for data centers and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, and understanding of SDLC principles for system deployment.
• Preferred certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with Calix GPON and XGS‑PON services is desirable.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and oversee enterprise network infrastructures across LAN, WAN, and data center environments.

• Configure and maintain network hardware, including Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, and Juniper equipment, to support performance and security.
• Deploy and sustain security technologies such as Cisco ISE, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, IDS, and encryption standards.
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk, carry out vulnerability checks, and resolve connectivity or equipment issues efficiently.
• Administer advanced routing technologies including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and IPsec VPNs.
• Support system administration activities across Windows, Linux, UNIX platforms, and virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere and Citrix.
• Contribute to network architecture planning for high availability, including load balancing and redundancy in data center or cloud-based setups.
• Support GPON/XGS‑PON, Ethernet, and transport technologies for residential and commercial broadband services.
