Artisan Dental is an award-winning, locally owned general dentistry practice in Madison, WI, looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our practice embraces advanced technology to enhance both patient care and the team experience, including digital X-rays and charting, CAD/CAM, iTero, Dentrix AI, and CBCT.

This position offers an opportunity to get started with a flexible PRN schedule while transitioning into a consistent part-time schedule in 2027.

October-December 2026:
PRN schedule beginning in mid-October, with approximately 25 shifts currently available and the potential for additional shifts.

Beginning January 1, 2027:
Mondays & Thursdays | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

Beginning April 1, 2027:
Mondays & Tuesdays | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

This is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for flexibility now with a predictable, consistent part-time schedule moving into 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
