Our Lawn Care Technicians are State of Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicators, applying fertilizers as well as treating for weeds, insects, & turf diseases. Competitive base pay: $22 - $28+/hr., based on experience Snow pay Compensation Incentives 401(k) plan, with company match Short Term and Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Referral bonus Performance reviews Company events Awards and recognition from peers and leaders Ongoing training and development Requirements 1 Year of commercial lawn care experience, including operation of ride-on spreader Possess a chauffeur's driver's license, or the ability to obtain one upon hire Experience driving a truck w/ trailer Basic math skills associated with accurately measuring and mixing pesticides, as well as calibrating spreaders to directed application rates Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties The capacity to work independently or with a crew General working knowledge of proper lawn and landscape management practices, including basic grass, weed, & disease identification Flexible attitude open to helping in other areas of the business when needed Ability to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer DJ's Landscape Management is a drug‑free workplace.
