You'll be the sole PE on staff, working directly with senior leadership and supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone humble, organized, proactive, and excited to learn every aspect of project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction document review — analyze plans, specs, and project requirementsSubmittal management — review, process, and trackRFI coordination — draft, submit, and follow throughChange order support — assist with pricing, documentation, and approvalsOwner billing — prepare monthly billing packagesScheduling assistance — support development and monitoring of project schedulesSubcontractor packages — assemble, track, and maintain documentationOAC meeting participation — prepare materials and support communicationPunchlist & closeout — help drive completion and turnoverCloud-based project documentation — maintain organized, accurate project recordsClient & subcontractor communication — act as a proactive liaisonSafety support — assist superintendent with site safety needsManage multiple projects simultaneously and support delivery through warranty phaseRequired Skills & Experience2–5 years as a Project Engineer in commercial constructionStrong proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft ExcelComfortable working without Procore; must be confident managing projects in Microsoft toolsExperience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentationHighly organized, accountable, and eager to learnAble to adapt quickly and jump into any task — "nothing is beneath me" mentalityNice-to-Have SkillsConstruction management education or backgroundExperience supporting ground-up, retail, fitness, or redevelopment projectsGrowth & CultureClear path to Project Manager (not immediate; long-term development)Opportunity to help train a future junior PEFamily-oriented, respectful, tight-knit cultureDirect exposure to senior leadership and operationsHigh integrity, relationship-driven environmentTeam that values empathy, authenticity, and proactive communicationCompensation & Benefits10 days PTO to start7 paid holidaysMileage reimbursementStrong mentorship and broad exposure to project dutiesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.67/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
