Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical, overflow, post-surgical, and observation unit
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6/7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in a team nursing model, collaborating with LPN support staff
• Fulfill on-call duties and weekend rotation as needed
• Adhere to unit float policies, which may include floating to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Willingness to work weekend rotation and holiday coverage as required
• Must reside or be relocating more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of total RN experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• BSN degree (ADN accepted for this position)
