Description: Provide diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by radiologist and performing physician. Assist in the performance of interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography. Provide essential patient care during all procedures. Be able to be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety. Organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift. Maintain a flexible and adaptable personality to work with many individuals simultaneously. Dress code requires wearing black scrubs. Night shift orientation occurs during day shift hours. Traveler must be available for the entire week dedicated to orientation. Clinical setting includes GE equipment. EMR utilized is Epic. Expected to float as required. This position requires a good understanding of patient care standards and operational procedures.
