Located in Baton Rouge, LA Salary: $20.00 / hour + Commissions Outside Sales Representative Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour + Commissions Location: Baton Rouge, LA (70809 area) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Express Employment Professionals is searching for a driven Outside Sales Representative to generate new residential and commercial business across the local area. If you are a proactive sales professional who thrives on building customer relationships and driving revenue growth, this is a great opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Key Responsibilities:- Conduct business-to-business (B2B) and residential door-to-door sales calls to generate leads and open new accounts.
- Present products and services to potential client decision-makers, securing ongoing account contracts.
- Manage sales pipelines, follow up on prospect inquiries, and hit weekly account-growth targets.
- Operate a company-provided vehicle safely while managing a local daily sales route.
- Sales Experience: Prior sales experience is required; background in B2B or direct outreach preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: HVAC knowledge is preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Licensing & Screenings: Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen and full background check.
- Attire: Professional presentation with long pants and closed-toe shoes (company uniform shirt provided).
- Competitive base pay ($20/hr) plus commission earnings on secured accounts.
- Company vehicle provided for all work-related sales travel.
- Steady daytime schedule (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals.
