Associate Veterinarian

Are you ready to rediscover your passion for veterinary medicine in a place where community, collaboration, and compassion come together? Our clients are seeking a talented Associate Veterinarian to join their long-established small animal practice in the scenic countryside of upstate New York.

This purpose-built, community-centered hospital has been serving the Salem area and surrounding towns for nearly 30 years. Known for its close-knit, loyal clientele and team-oriented culture, the practice blends the warmth of small-town relationships with the quality of modern veterinary medicine. You’ll work alongside an experienced, supportive team — including licensed technicians and long-standing staff — who share your dedication to exceptional pet care.

The role offers a rewarding balance of wellness care and surgery, with a growing surgical caseload as the practice expands. The team values quality over quantity, ensuring you have the time, tools, and support to provide the highest standard of care. With a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, and no emergency or on-call shifts, you can enjoy both your professional and personal life to the fullest.
