Substitute Cafeteria Workers Needed

Substitute Cafeteria Workers needed for the 2026-2027 School Year Start/end times vary by building - Typically would sub 3.75 hours unless a 7-hour person is needed

Assist with lunch meal preparation (including sandwich making & bagging, cupping fruit, salad and veggies)

Set up and serve lunch meal

Break down and clean up serving lines and work areas

Restock serving lines (condiments, milk, fruit, veggies, etc.)

Wash dishes (trays, pots, pans, etc.)

Sweep and mop floors

Put away stock and non-food supplies

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Safe Food handling and kitchen sanitation
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work as a team
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be customer service oriented
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. repetitiously
• Must be able to read and perform mathematical equations
• BCI/FBI Background Clearance

Starting Pay: $13.00/hr.
