We at Inova Staffing are seeking dependable, hardworking Record Center Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will help process, organize, retrieve, and prepare records and storage materials for customers. This is a hands-on, physically active position ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working independently, and being part of an organized warehouse environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
• Pay frequency: Paid weekly
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Physical Requirements

This position involves frequent physical activity throughout the workday. Candidates must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and stooping for extended periods. You may also climb ladders, work on concrete or uneven surfaces, and move materials up ramps, stairs, or inclines.

Candidates must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50-60 pounds without assistance and safely maneuver loaded carts and pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing orders for files, books, binders, backup tapes, boxes, bins, totes, and other stored materials.

• Locate, retrieve, organize, sort, and return boxes and records to the correct storage locations.

• Read labels, order information, and location codes to accurately handle and route materials.

• Use a handheld scanner and company computer system to track orders, update inventory activity, and identify box locations.

• Safely lift, carry, push, pull, load, unload, and arrange boxes weighing approximately 10–100 pounds.

• Load boxes onto hand carts, pallets, and trucks using proper lifting techniques and approved material-handling equipment.

• Operate hand carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling aids safely and effectively.

• Stack, palletize, and shrink-wrap boxes and materials for storage or shipment.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and preparing orders for delivery or pickup.

• Maintain an organized work area and help keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and equipment clean and safe.

• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting procedures and required use of protective footwear.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Comfortable using a handheld scanner and basic computer system.

• Ability to work independently while meeting accuracy, productivity, and safety expectations.

• Prior warehouse, records-management, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.
