Schedule: Monday through Thursday (8-hour shifts) plus Friday half-day; outpatient setting

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Valid North Carolina RN license with NP certification OR valid North Carolina PA license
• Board certification through ANCC, NCC, AMCB, AANP, PNCB (for NPs) or NCCPA (for PAs)
• Valid DEA license
• BLS (CPR) certification – American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
• Recent HIV patient care experience is essential
• EPIC EMR experience required

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories for adult patients with infectious diseases
• Interpret diagnostic tests and results to develop effective treatment plans
• Perform preventive health screenings tailored to patient age, history, and individual needs
• Provide patient and family education regarding infectious disease conditions, treatment protocols, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records within EPIC system
• Perform office-based specialty care procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement through clinical assessment and problem-solving
