Key Responsibilities Group Facilitation and Management: Plans and conducts daily recreation and recovery groups, managing group dynamics to maximize participation and achieve positive outcomes. Individualized Activity Plans: Implements personalized activity plans and mentors staff in executing these plans. Assessment and Goal Monitoring: Assesses and reassesses individuals’ strengths, needs, and progress toward treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary. Therapeutic Activity Supervision: Completes and supervises therapeutic activity assessments, ensuring services align with treatment needs. Documentation and Compliance: Ensures timely, accurate, and legible documentation of services provided, adhering to professional standards, facility procedures, and department requirements. Additional Details Must be eligible to test for CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) . Candidates are eligible to register for the NCTRC certification exam if they are in compliance with NCTRC’s Certification Standards and Prerequisites. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree (Required). Experience: Preferred: experience with relevant population.
