Responsibilities Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. Responsible for the day‑to‑day cleaning and upkeep of pool facilities. Oversees and supervises activities in swimming pool areas. Maintains order in swimming areas. Monitors and inspects swimming pool operations for safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Assists in hiring, disciplining, monitoring, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating of assigned personnel. Participates in employee training to ensure adequate skills and resources are in place to perform job functions. Leads and directs the work of others. Ensures removal of used laundry and trash from pool area. Responsible for ensuring that pool cleaning is conducted according to accepted standards and techniques; ensures proper and safe use of machines and chemicals by team members. Reports pool facility problems related to structure, equipment, and plumbing to management. Ensures dressing and shower rooms are supplied with all hard and soft goods in compliance with company policy. Performs all other compatible and related duties as assigned. Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in pool maintenance or related area required; one (1) year of supervisory experience strongly preferred. Must have good written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. Thorough understanding of swimming pool operations practices and procedures and knowledge of the draining and filling of pool areas. Familiar with all tools and chemicals required for swimming pool area upkeep and maintenance. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
