Customer Service Representative

In this role, you'll play a critical part in reactivating dormant customers, engaging new locations within enterprise accounts, and driving revenue growth across a broad B2B customer base. What you'll be doing: * Make daily outbound calls to customers who have not placed an order in 7+ months to drive reactivation * Prospect and engage new locations affiliated with large managed customer accounts * Handle inbound customer inquiries and ensure timely, solution-oriented support * Negotiate pricing and develop customized quotes based on customer needs * Leverage order history and customer insights to increase share of wallet * Promote Quill's value proposition, offers, and pricing programs to convert opportunities into sales * Manage and grow an open book of business, identifying new opportunities and driving retention * Partner closely with account managers to share insights, trends, and customer feedback * Collaborate cross-functionally to expand sales into categories like furniture, technology, print, and promo * Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systems while meeting or exceeding sales metrics What you bring to the table: * Go-getter mentality with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals * Confident, self-motivated, and resilient—especially when faced with rejection * Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering value and solutions * Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly * Curiosity and willingness to ask questions and continuously improve * Ability to think dynamically and adapt your approach to different customer conversations * Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on collaboration and shared success * Strong multitasking skills with the ability to quickly assess customer needs and pivot to solutions * Enthusiasm for sales and belief in the products and solutions you represent * Desire to grow professionally in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment What's needed- Basic Qualifications * Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) * 1+ years of experience in a sales or service environment (B2B preferred) * Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and work in a hybrid model (4 days in office) * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Strong professional communication skills * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes * Ability to manage multiple sales approaches and customer scenarios * Strong customer acumen and problem-solving capabilities What's needed - Preferred Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience in a business-to-business sales or service environment * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas or productivity metrics * Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment * Demonstrated resilience and ability to handle rejection positively * Self-starter mindset with initiative and accountability * Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to share best practices * Natural curiosity and desire to grow and develop sales expertise We Offer: * Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups * Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays) * 112 Hours of PTO and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays + 1 floating holiday) * Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more! The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
