Quality Control ManagerLocation: Laredo, TXA respected, employee-owned commercial general contractor is looking to add a Quality Control Manager to its growing team. This company has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects while maintaining a culture focused on collaboration, integrity, and promoting from within.If you're passionate about quality, enjoy working alongside experienced project teams, and want to play a key role in delivering exceptional projects, this could be an excellent opportunity.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee project-specific Quality Control Plans.Ensure all construction activities meet contract requirements, specifications, and industry standards.Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate testing and documentation.Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify successful resolution.Partner closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, owners, and design teams to maintain quality throughout construction.Prepare and maintain all required quality control reports, logs, and project documentation.Lead pre-installation meetings and quality planning efforts.Assist with project closeout, punch list completion, and final inspections.Qualifications5+ years of commercial construction quality control experience.Experience on federal, healthcare, higher education, municipal, or other complex commercial projects is highly preferred.Strong understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and quality standards.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.If you're interested in learning more, reach out to Sydney Holland at View email address on click.appcast.io or View phone number on click.appcast.io.
