Quality Control Inspector

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm; Monday-Friday Salary: depending on experience. JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector is responsible for measuring and inspecting machined and formed parts to determine SPEC requirements are met. The ability to read and understand aerospace engineering drawings and specifications with a STRONG grasp of GD&T. Dimensionally inspect manufactured parts and be able to detect defects/out of tolerances. Inspect manufactured parts and be able to produce First Article Inspection Reports. Able to use inspection tools such as calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, micrometer, scales, eddy current, optical comparator, and Rockwell hardness tester. Able to proficiently program/operate a CMM. Be able to provide feedback to the machinists or assemblers. Be able to inspect using PCMs and formed metal parts. Be familiar with Boeing Specs Must be detail-oriented. Performs daily duties and responsibilities without supervision. Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows all safety regulations. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
