Picture starting your shift on a floor where accuracy rules and teamwork keeps everything moving. As a Multi-Axis CNC Setup and Production Operator, you’ll help turn complex prints into flawless parts on our 2nd or 3rd shift—keeping quality high and output steady.

A Day in the Role

From initial setup to final inspection, you’ll guide parts through the entire machining process. You’ll interpret detailed blueprints, optimize programs and tooling, and verify every dimension before parts move on.

What You’ll Tackle

• Set up and run CNC equipment to meet tight part specs and production targets.
• Read and apply technical drawings/blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Watch cycle performance and fine-tune feeds, speeds, and offsets as needed.
• Handle routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
• Inspect components with precision metrology tools to confirm conformance.
• Partner with teammates to refine processes and boost throughput.
• Keep your cell organized and safe in line with company and regulatory standards.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a production setting.
• Solid knowledge of CNC tooling, machining methods, and basic programming concepts.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, prints, and schematics.
• Comfort with calipers, micrometers, and gauges for in-process checks.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving.
• Self-directed yet collaborative; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communicator with a strong safety mindset.

Equipment You’ll Run

• CNC Mills (3–4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC)
• CNC Lathes (2–4 axis and 5+ axis)
• Horizontal Machining Centers (3–4 axis and 5+ axis)
• Measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Industrial robot support as applicable
