Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesSystem Configuration & Feature ManagementManagement of service planning system data input connectivity, monitoring, and governanceIdentify and document requirements for data feed and data management improvements and work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementationEvaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to team membersBusiness AnalysisDevelop data quality monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards etcPerform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sourcesDefine and/or develop analytical tools in Power BI and other data visualization technologiesSee opportunities to improve data reporting landscapeTesting, Validation & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and implement functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and improvements.Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real‑world results.See opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability.Documentation & CommunicationMaintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data developSupport knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partnersAct as an authority for the service inventory planning systemPreferred Qualifications:EducationMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fieldExperienceDatabase management and/or experience with large data-intensive enterprise systemsExperience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalentHands‑on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environmentExperience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurationsTechnical & Analytical SkillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data setsProficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plusUnderstanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reportingMinimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsBase Pay Range: $90,400.00 - $153,700.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
