Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for adult surgical patients in the OR, including pre-op prep, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery handoff
- Maintain sterile technique, assist the surgical team, and manage intraoperative equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient status, document vital signs and events, administer medications per protocol, and respond to deviations promptly
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, circulating staff, and PACU for patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Participate in call coverage on weekends and holidays; adhere to the no block scheduling policy
- Utilize electronic systems (Outlook, Workday, Shift Wizard) and ensure access via personal devices as required

Requirements
- Active RN license required for the assignment
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- OR experience with level 1 trauma exposure; demonstrated competency in neuro and vascular skills per skills checklist
- High rating on skills checklist; ability to demonstrate and maintain clinical proficiency
- Proficiency with electronic systems (Outlook, Workday, Shift Wizard) and access to necessary devices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment and to cover weekend/holiday call as needed
