This Production Technician I position is Full-time and is located at the MPXmanufacturing facility in Pleasantville, NJ. The Production Technician is responsible for overseeing and assisting with cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging cannabis products. This position ensures adherence to SOPs and maintains high-quality standards in all production activities, while actively participating in and guiding the Production Team. This role requires excellent time management skills and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Perform cultivation activities including planting, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants. Coordinate waste disposal after completion of each order according to established policies and procedures and ensure it is properly stored. Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions to ensure plant health and maximize yield. Participate in the harvesting process by trimming and processing harvested plants following established protocols. Operate and maintain cultivation equipment, ensuring proper functionality and promptly addressing any issues. Maintain accurate and detailed records of product weights throughout the production process and immediately report any weight discrepancies to the Production Lead. Conduct routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems. Follow and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Work collaboratively with the cultivation and production teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency in production workflows. Ensure that all products meet established quality standards before reaching the next stage of production. Follow the established cleaning schedules and policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations and safety standards. Review the Communication Binder at the start of each shift for current information and updates. Attend team meetings and participate in training sessions as required to enhance skills and stay updated with company protocols. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older (18 in NY). High School diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is non-negotiable. Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively. Reliability is a must. Meticulous organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Proficient in both oral and written communication. Computer-savvy with a knack for quickly mastering new software. Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a heavily regulated environment. Green Flower and/or Ganjier Certificate holder preferred.
