Novant Health is seeking a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
  • Prior acute care experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Your Impact:

  • Perform high-quality MRI diagnostic exams in an acute care setting
  • Work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 
    • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
  • Experience:  Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Minimum of one year of experience in MR, required.
    • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
    • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required .
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
    • Applicable state license, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):  Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
What You'll Do:

The MRI Technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment to obtain quality diagnostic scans.
