In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately collecting blood and other specimens from patients to support diagnostic and treatment processes. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection following safety and infection control protocols Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens to maintain accuracy Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of phlebotomy equipment and work area Provide excellent patient care, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns Document collection details accurately in medical records Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely processing of specimens Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
