Nurse Unit Manager Opportunity at Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center

Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents.

RN Unit Manager Requirements include:

• Active (RN) license in Wisconsin with a minimum of 3 years of Nursing Experience Required
• Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, Charge Nurse etc.)
• Memory Care and Trach Care experience a Plus but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care

Unit Manager Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit
• Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting
• Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care
• Be a part of clinical Leadership call rotation
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed
