Description Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. Hours: Full Time (3) 12-Hour Shifts per week Shifts: Night & Day Shift based on current needs. Premium Pay Differentials Nights: $4.00/hr Weekends $2.20/hr Hiring in: Resource Pool / Progressive Care Unit / 3W Ortho / 4N MedSurg / 5N Oncology / 5W Neurology Required qualifications Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology course Or Successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred qualifications Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant 6 months of Health care experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
