Kitchen Staff

Wage: $11-$16hr. (Depending on experience). Job Description At Rock N Roll Sushi, our kitchen is looking for a skilled team member to join our staff. In this role, you will help ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires adaptability and a willingness to support a variety of kitchen tasks. You may assist with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and preparing simple meals. To succeed in this role, you should be hardworking, adaptable, and able to follow directions. You should also be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Organize kitchen stations with the required equipment. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Wash, chop, shred, and grate ingredients as directed by management. Plate and garnish food items according to standards. Ensure dishes are presented attractively. Store food properly in cold storage. Monitor inventory and restock items as needed. Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen at all times. Help with washing dishes and storing them in appropriate locations. Assist kitchen assistants, cooks, chefs, and other team members. Report any kitchen issues or incidents to the Kitchen Manager. Help unload deliveries and organize supplies. Maintain all areas in accordance with health code standards. Follow all food hygiene and sanitation guidelines. Following shared daily cleaning schedules. Job Requirements Requirements: Minimum age of 16 years old. Experience as a Kitchen Staff, Kitchen Assistant, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry, is preferred but not required. Ability to stand for a long working period. Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred but not required. Flexible availability during business hours, including weekends and evenings. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
