Physical Therapist - Full Time

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist (PT) conducts patient examinations, develops treatment plans, and implements interventions to optimize patient function in accordance with state practice standards. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide prevention, wellness, and education services, ensuring safety and quality care. Key Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform system reviews Administer tests and measures to assess patient conditions Determine treatment appropriateness and develop individualized care plans Perform reexaminations and modify interventions based on patient progress Utilize various therapy techniques to achieve desired outcomes Ensure patient safety and accuracy in documentation Educate patients and families to promote understanding and compliance Coordinate care with other departments and support staff Participate in outcomes analysis and quality improvement activities Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy program New York State Physical Therapist license and registration Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed PT Preferred: DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy Additional Information: The role involves full-time, day-shift work, with a pay range of $34.00 to $50.00 hourly.
