Program Assistant

About This Role The Program Assistant assists 4-H Specialists and Program Coordinators by providing reliable, timely, and accurate systems, administrative, and logistical support for statewide processes. This position provides customer service to local Extension units, university partners, program participants, and families. Responsibilities include supporting the online volunteer screening process, invoicing local Extension units, financial processes, logistics for select 4-H events, online enrollment management, general office processes, and other administrative support. Worksite Description This position is On-site . All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Three years of administrative assistance experience Experience with on-line enrollment systems Experience with data collections systems (ie., Qualtrics) Familiarity with 4-H Youth Development programs Knowledge of K-State Extension Sponsorship eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship Application Window Applications close on:August 2, 2026 Anticipated Hiring Pay Range $16.36 - $20.44 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
