What You'll Do

Drive New Business Growth

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and secure new employee benefits clients
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting efforts
• Generate opportunities with employers ranging from mid-sized businesses to larger organizations seeking strategic benefits guidance

Provide Consultative Benefits Expertise

• Assess clients' employee benefits strategies, workforce challenges, and organizational goals
• Design and recommend customized employee benefits solutions, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary programs
• Partner with carrier representatives and internal subject matter experts to deliver competitive and innovative solutions

Build Long-Term Client Relationships

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR professionals
• Deliver proactive guidance on market trends, cost-containment strategies, compliance considerations, and employee engagement initiatives
• Retain and expand client relationships through exceptional service and strategic consultation

Collaborate Across the Organization

• Partner closely with account management, service, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless client experience
• Leverage internal resources and carrier relationships to create value for clients and prospects
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture

Requirements:

  What You'll Bring

• Proven success in employee benefits sales, insurance brokerage, consulting, or a related business-to-business sales environment
• Active Life & Health insurance license, or the ability to obtain
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve revenue goals
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and insurance marketplace dynamics
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• A consultative sales approach with a commitment to understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Self-motivation, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Bachelor's degree preferred
