Field Service Technician II

Role Overview Field Service Technician II will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. The role includes operating a fleet vehicle, making direct customer contact, and providing 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts in a timely and professional manner. What You'll Do Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products. Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs. Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, with customer account visits as needed. Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds. Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract. Safely operate a box truck vehicle or company car ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000‑pound truck. What You'll Bring At least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and driving record Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Preferred: Technical or trade school training DOT physical card (assistance provided) Experience with FDA‑regulated products Customer service experience Safety experience Safety Requirements Adhere to Hill‑Rom safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing.
