Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Long Term Care, travel assignment in Belen, New Mexico. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,372 to $2,569 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30). Setting: skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents in a long-term care setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Provide direct therapy and adjust plans based on resident progress and response to interventions.
- Document assessment results, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in the resident’s chart.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation therapy, social work, and physicians) to coordinate care and goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies; participate in care planning meetings and family conferences as needed.

Requirements
- Travel assignment in a long-term care setting with 35 guaranteed hours per week
- Availability to start on or around 07/06/2026 for a 13-week contract
- Ability to work a 5x8 day schedule (08:00–16:30)
- Willingness to work in Belen, New Mexico, and comply with facility policies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interprofessional care team
