You must be licensed in mental health in the state of Georgia to be considered. Please make sure to submit a current resume, cover letter (optional) and three professional references, which is required.Available Shifts:Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 4pm (FT 40hrs)Wednesday to Saturday 8am-6pm (FT 40hrs)Wednesday to Saturday 3pm-1am (Ft 40hrs)Monday to Friday 5am-1pm (FT 40hrs)Candidates must meet job and residency requirements for this role. Valid driver's license, & reliable transportation.Position OverviewServe as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. You may obtain certification through organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or the Health and Safety Institute.Experience, Skills and QualificationsMinimum one to two years' clinical behavioral health experience.Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.Bi-lingual preferredTravel RequirementsThis is a 100% mobile response position that requires a valid, unrestricted driver's license.First responders must be able to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.First responders must be able to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.At times, driving in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.Behavioral Health Link Equal Opportunity StatementBehavioral Health Link (BHL) is committed to maintaining a work environment free from discrimination, where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
