Nursing Assistant

Our organization is seeking dedicated Nursing Assistants to deliver essential nursing and restorative care under the supervision of licensed personnel. This is an engaging opportunity for individuals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer skin care treatments in accordance with resident care protocols.
• Support residents in ambulation, movement, and transfers, ensuring proper techniques are used.
• Assist residents with nutritional needs, including feeding, hydration, and toileting.
• Monitor and report significant observations in resident care and environmental conditions to licensed personnel.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Adhere to resident care plans and comply with nursing standards and policies.
• Promote infection control techniques and respect the personal and spiritual beliefs of residents.
• Encourage residents to actively participate in their own care when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience in a similar role.
• Ability to float to various shifts and units as required.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in rural or small facilities is considered a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to work night shifts and any other necessary shifts as needed.
• Availability to work through holidays, including Labor Day, is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination series is mandatory for this position; exemptions are not accepted.
