Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech therapy that addresses language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to develop seamless care approaches.
• Educate patients and families to foster progress and carry therapeutic strategies into their daily lives.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress meticulously in adherence to state regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
