Registered Nurse - Clinical Float - Medical/Surgical

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Float Pool provides comprehensive nursing care across various Medical Surgical units. Responsibilities: Conducts assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, administers medications, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Ensures patient safety, manages pain, prevents falls and skin injuries, and provides patient and family education. Maintains documentation, adheres to infection control and safety protocols, and responds to changes in patient conditions. Supports discharge planning and promotes service excellence through respectful communication and teamwork. Qualifications & Skills: Valid RN license in applicable states, BLS certification, strong clinical and communication skills, ability to adapt to changing demands, and commitment to professional growth. Knowledge of age-specific care and safety standards is essential.
