Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Houston, TX | Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with one weekend rotation per month | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using facility EMR systems (Casamba/ProTouch)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to additional facility locations as needed to support patient care demands
• Adhere to facility dress code standards (navy blue scrubs, closed-toe shoes)

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
• Willingness and ability to float to sister facility locations as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1–2 years of acute care experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Casamba and/or ProTouch EMR systems
• Familiarity with LTACH patient populations and care protocols
