Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our downtown Denver store located at 78 S Broadway, Denver CO 80209 . What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies? Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries Lead onboarding and initial training of new hourly staff Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling Ensure staff adhere to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.) Drive upselling and customer service excellence, ensuring all team members do the same Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems Availability to work 4-5 days a week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S. About us: Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm room by Seth Berkowitz.
