We are looking for a skilled software engineer who can work with other teams on all levels of the organization to help develop tools with our company's Vision Application. This consists of an Android application with potentially some Web development.

Requirements:

• Development experience working with Android applications and supporting the team in being innovative with their problem-solving
• Database experience
• Focus on MySQL
• Knows Kotlin/Java + MVVM
• Android Studio development - some UI creation experience
• A true passion for what they do - Drive to learn

Experience with:

• JSON/GSON/ REST APIs
• Supply chain
• Django/Vue
• Automated
• Kubernetes
• Azure Dev Ops
• Web-sockets
• Event driven architecture
• Component lifecycle

Soft Skills:

• Fast learner, using initiative and being able to work independently and produce innovative solutions to ongoing problems.
• Needs to be able to work with teams and people from all levels of the company
• Needs to be able to work independently
• Experience with version control (git based)
• Adapting to a fast pace environment
• Support other team members when more technical questions come up

Education:

• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
