Regional Patient Access Manager - Long Term Care, Mid South

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Regional Patient Access Manager for the Long Term Care segment covering multiple Midwestern states. The role focuses on supporting healthcare professionals and specialty pharmacies to maximize patient access to marketed products, manage payer relationships, and maintain pharmacy network integrity.
Responsibilities
- Support healthcare professionals with access education and resolve coverage issues for existing prescriptions
- Communicate and coordinate with specialty pharmacies, closed-door pharmacies, and HUB partner services
- Build and maintain pharmacy distribution network through vetting, approval, and monitoring activities
- Conduct staff training on payer policies, appeals processes, and patient financial assistance programs
- Identify and escalate payer coverage challenges to national account and leadership teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field plus 6+ years pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years specialty pharmacy/market access
- Master's degree or MBA with 4+ years related experience, or PharmD/PhD with 2+ years experience
- Deep knowledge of specialty pharmacies, managed care, PBMs, and government payer systems
- Strong expertise in patient support programs and reimbursement assistance mechanisms
- Understanding of prescription adjudication processes and payer coverage policies
- Ability to communicate clearly and compliantly with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with CNS products preferred
