MedTech Field Service Tech Remediation - Nationwide Travel

$30 - $32 per hour

IQVIA

Field service technician role installing and maintaining automated medication dispensing device software at hospitals nationwide. Requires extensive travel across multiple regions, technical troubleshooting skills, and compliance with healthcare facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and deploy software updates for medical devices and networking systems
Perform post-installation functionality checks and troubleshoot technical issues independently
Follow calibration protocols and service equipment according to standards
Train healthcare staff on device operation and software features
Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and vendor requirements

Requirements

Extensive nationwide and regional travel availability
Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred
Minimum 1 year technical experience; 3+ years field technician experience preferred
Background in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology
Current immunizations and ability to meet hospital credentialing standards
US work authorization without visa sponsorship needed
Ability to maintain personal parts inventory from approved vendors

Compensation: $30-32 per hour
