Acute Care Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to work in an acute care setting. The position generally covers 0.6 FTE and utilizes a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the facility. The primary focus will be on inpatient therapy, and there may be opportunities to float between various facilities based on patient care requirements and therapist qualifications.

This position operates on a day shift, consisting of three 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. The therapist will primarily work Monday through Friday, with flexibility for alternative weekday schedules as necessary.

The expected patient-to-therapist ratios are between 1:5 to 1:10, ensuring thorough and personalized care for each patient.

This role will take place in a critical access facility with a total of 23 staff beds, where teamwork and adaptability are key to providing optimal patient care.

Position requires flexible scheduling based on hospital census and departmental needs. Traveling requirements may include floating to other facilities in the region based on the therapist's skills and facility needs. No weekend or on-call shifts are required.

Scrub colors are flexible for all RN and Allied Health staff. Charting is conducted using electronic health record software, specifically Epic. No parking fees are required for staff.
