An inclusive brand with exclusive products, Bottega Veneta is as much of a feeling as it is an aesthetic.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor who will report to the Assistant Store Director, Operations as part of our dynamic team in Madison Avenue Flagship.Your OpportunityServes as an ambassador of the brand by exhibiting passion for Bottega Veneta, meeting and exceeding sales and Key Performance Indicator goals as set forth by store management and consistently providing world class customer service.How You Will ContributeEnsuring merchandise and supply deliveries are accurate, verifying all quantities shipped/received match corresponding documentation for all incoming/outgoing shipmentsProvide support to management and sales staff through quick, accurate stock checks and upon request, provide quick delivery to sales floorMaintain stock room standards through organization of merchandise by style, color and size or as directed by Store Management/Operations DepartmentExecute routine cycle counts and resolve/inform management of any identified inventory discrepanciesMaintain organized shipping area ensuring all outgoing merchandise is properly packaged and logged following all policies and proceduresMaximize all available stock space to ensure merchandise can be easily accessed by all employees and allow the store to function at maximum efficiencyEnsure timely communication with management and sales team in regard to new arrivals, product replenishment and client returnsRe-stock appropriate levels of packaging supplies within the boutiqueAid in training new hires on all policy and procedures related to shipping and receivingComplete tasks and projects as assigned by Store ManagementSupervises payment procedures. Manages the Cashier(s), working alongside them during payments if necessary and helping them find a solution to any problems that may occur (when applicable).Manages the administration activities such as petty cash and daily or weekly deposits with the bank (when applicable).Guarantees adequate boutique operation in terms of structure, taking care of all the details that allow the team members to carry out their job efficiently. Contacts and manages non merchandise supply (stationery, uniforms, packaging, drinks, etc.).Collaborates with the Facilities office to supervise all the possible maintenance and cleaning operations.Coordinates with the Operations Office of HQ, to manage and supervise all the operations procedure.Monitors the process of After Sales, Before Sales and product returns.Manages cases of BV staff clothing allowance.Who You Are2-4 years of experience preferred in highly-complex, retail stock room; previous experience working with international/domestic freight companies a plus (i.e. FedEX/UPS)Ability to easily execute multiple tasks and challenging priorities with strong attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, professional and polished team playerHigh level of accountability and reliability with willingness to accept feedbackBasic computer skills, Excel experience preferredAbility to be mobile/stand for extended periods of timeAbility to climb a ladder and lift packages upward of 20 lbs. on a regular basisNew York Salary Range:Salary range of $30.00-32.00/hr (plus overtime eligibility)Why Work With Us?This is a fabulous opportunity to join the Kering adventure and to actively contribute to the development of the business by becoming part of a global Luxury Group that offers endless possibilities to learn and grow.
