Job Description
Job Title: Emergency Medicine NP/PA

Profession: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts

Hours per Shift: 8a-8p or 5p-5a

Experience: Minimum experience required

License: Active Illinois NP or PA License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have: Active Illinois Controlled Substance License

Description:
We have a high-priority locum need for an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Candidates must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Only candidates who are actively licensed in Illinois and possess an active Illinois Controlled Substance license will be considered.
The schedule consists of rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Travel may be approved for candidates within driving distance or those needing flights.
References are required from professional colleagues and medical directors who can attest to the candidate's skills and experience.
Candidates are preferred to be easy to credential.
Those with a history of malpractice cases may not be considered.
