Description:
Clients Strategic Silicon Solutions group is responsible for custom silicon for advanced gaming platforms such as XBOX PlayStation and Steam Deck. As a Post-Silicon Power and Performance Validation Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring our custom silicon products meet power and performance targets and are optimized for customer use cases. You will interact with architecture firmware driver and other teams to develop testplans for new product features execute studies in a lab environment and analyze data to validate that the product meets specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop testplans in collaboration with architects firmware and IP-specific engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets.
- Work with architects and the business team to support current and potential future products.
- Execute power and performance studies to support business development.
- Validate and tune product features post-silicon.
- Set up and debug systems under test.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience (preferably in post-silicon)
- Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs GPUs or APUs.
- Familiarity with graphics core and gaming-focused workloads.
- Familiarity with the use of data acquisition and thermal equipment.
- Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI Sigma or similar.
- Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed and multi-site technical organization.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or equivalent experience.
