Visiting Assistant Professor- Law

Job Overview The University of Toledo College of Law is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2026-2027 academic year. Subject matter can include, but is not limited to, Constitutional Law and Property. Position Details Expected start date: August 24, 2026. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis; priority consideration will be given to candidates who apply by March 4, 2026. Responsibilities Teach courses. Conduct scholarly research and writing. Provide service to students, the College of Law, the University, and the broader legal community. Minimum Qualifications Applicants should possess a juris doctorate or equivalent with an outstanding academic record, a commitment to excellence, and a demonstrated ability to maintain effective and respectful working relationships with the campus community. Preferred Qualifications Excellent academic credentials. Scholarly publications or demonstrated scholarly potential. Meaningful legal experience.
