Job Description
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and scheduled servicing on heavy equipment (engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmissions, undercarriages, and brakes)
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment manuals
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts, components, and systems
• Perform welding, fabrication, and machining repairs as needed
• Respond to equipment breakdowns on active job sites, including field repairs
• Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts inventory
• Order parts and coordinate with suppliers to minimize equipment downtime
• Test repaired equipment to confirm proper function before returning it to service
• Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer guidelines
