Registered Nurse (RN) PICU
The RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) delivers life-saving care to critically ill or injured children. This position requires specialized skills to monitor vital signs, administer complex treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive nursing care to pediatric patients with severe, life-threatening conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and use advanced equipment to track patient status.
- Administer specialized medications, IV infusions, and interventions as prescribed.
- Communicate with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists.
- Educate and offer emotional support to families navigating critical pediatric care.
