Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job

Overview Registered Nurse - PACU in an acute care surgical services setting, located in Lapeer, Michigan. This travel assignment starts on 08/17/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,785 to $1,850, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 12 hours, days, 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m., on a 3x12-day schedule. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to surgical patients in the PACU, monitoring recovery status and stability.
• Assess airway, breathing, circulation, and vital signs; respond to changes in patient condition.
• Manage analgesia, antiemetics, and other medications per protocol; document responses and side effects.
• Facilitate safe patient transitions from PACU to extended post-anesthesia care or discharge, following protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and discharge criteria.
• Communicate effectively with anesthesia, surgical teams, and postoperative care colleagues; escalate issues promptly.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Michigan
• 2+ years PACU experience (required)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Education: RN degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor’s acceptable)
• Ability to work in an acute PACU environment within a surgical services setting
