Responsibilities Conduct legal due diligence of complex corporate, financing and project documents for acquisitions, development, financing and other transactions as counsel to service providers, buyers, sellers, financing parties and other investors. Prepare diligence documentation and draft transaction documents for the parties and entities involved in acquisitions, development, financing and other transactions involving assets primarily in the LATAM region. Prepare legal due diligence reports and management board presentation materials. Negotiate terms and conditions of the transactions with opposing parties and their counsels in both English and Spanish. Prepare and comment on transaction documents and other documents based on the agreed terms from negotiations. Review and comment on security and collateral documents, governed by local laws of the relevant jurisdiction in the LATAM region. Supervise local counsel in the creation, registration and perfection of security interests in the relevant jurisdictions. Qualifications JD (or equivalent) degree. License to practice in a civil law jurisdiction in at least one LATAM country. 5 years of relevant experience practicing law. Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional Information Hunton permits employees to work remotely part-time from their residence so long as that is within normal commuting distance, or within the same metro statistical area.
