Qualifications for the Geriatric Nursing Assistant:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered with the state as a GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant:

• Provide safe daily resident care
• Transport and assist in ambulating residents
• Maintain a clean and safe resident unit
• Bathe, dress, and feed residents
• Document and communicate resident care information
• Promote and support positive guest relations to all visitors and residents
